Etelvina has been in the field of corporate governance since 2003 and has worked with issuers and institutional investors in the U.S. and several international markets. She spent seven years with Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) Research advising institutional investor clients on proxy voting decisions including proxy fights and other contested situations. Following this, she spent another seven years at CtW Investment Group working closely with public and union pension funds to engage companies on a variety of ESG practices such as executive compensation, human capital management and shareholder rights. Prior to joining Alliance, she worked for several years at ISS Corporate Solutions where she advised issuers in a variety of industries on executive compensation, governance ratings, and shareholder engagement.
Etelvina holds a B.S. in International Business and an MBA from American University in Washington, DC and a Masters in Financial Management from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain.
